March Questions of the Month
A vision statement describes the community’s shared hopes and priorities for the future. It is aspirational and forward‑looking, painting a picture of what the community wants to be like 10–20 years from now. Rather than focusing on specific projects or existing conditions, the vision reflects core values and desired qualities, such as community form, quality of life, and how people live, work, and connect.
The vision statement reflects what the community values most and describes the kind of community we want to be in the future. It helps set the direction for goals, policies, and actions in the plan. The Questions of the Month activity will run through the spring and summer to gather input from our community on a broad range of topics.
Your input through this Question of the Month will help ensure the vision reflects shared priorities and real community perspectives. Thank you for your input into this process!
